LGBTI+ Ageing and Aged Care Education

The Silver Rainbow Ageing and Aged Care Program offers training and consultancy to help hospitals, service providers, and aged care providers meet requirements to provide safe and inclusive care for older lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and intersex (LGBTI+) people and offers these services free of charge funded by the Federal Department of Health.

Silver Rainbow is made up of 3 components:

Opportunities for individuals to learn about, discuss and share LGBTI+ inclusive practices.

Provides opportunities for peer connections
