The ID Change Support Fund provides financial aid from TGV to help ensure every Victorian has access to documents that accurately reflect who they are.
TGV has established a fund to assist trans and gender diverse people experiencing financial hardship to cover the costs of updating their name and sex record on their Victorian Birth Certificate.
TGV will not be asking for you to prove your financial position. To ensure we can help the greatest number of people in need, we ask you to only request assistance if you think you are currently experiencing financial hardship.
To that end, this form is an attempt to provide assistance to these individuals and record the potential impact of the fund. This includes the overall barriers and difficulties our community may face at the time they are affirming their gender identity. The information you can provide may help us to inspire further donations, keeping the fund topped up to help more people in the future.
We are now able to offer both Reimbursement (repayment after an application), and upfront payment assistance.
