“There is so much happening at TGV at the moment. Our public engagement has never been higher, and our communities continue to demand more colour, more diversity, more participation. So we’re raising the bar to give it to them, and call for action at the same time. The question is: would you like to join us?”

Ygender is a peer led support and advocacy organisation for trans and gender diverse young people. We were established in 2010 by a group of trans young people who realised that our community needed an autonomous space to support each other and advocate for our rights.
We're thrilled to announce not one, but two of our board members have recieved Order of Australia awards!
Our very own Chair Brenda Appleton and Treasurer Sally Goldner have been recognised for their many years of amazing work fighting for the rights of LGBTIQ people across Australia!
We wish them both an enormous congratulations!
